Why do most of the bloggers make narcissistic people out to be only men?

I was married to a woman that could define narcissistic to the textbook definition.

In my work with survivors of narcissistic abuse I have found that woman are as likely to be narcissistic as men.

However in my experience men tend to keep their abuse hidden due to feelings of shame and embarrassment. Though women do have similar feelings, they still tend to discuss their abuse more openly.

This presents an unclear picture of the degree of abuse men actually suffer leading to bloggers focusing on women alone as victims when in truth men can very much be victims too.

We need to support men to speak up more about their feelings without shame.
